Interior Design Cathedral: interior design cathedral design trends are always changing, and Metropolitan Home's "Decorate" wants to help keep consumers up-to-date.
"We've seen a real shift in Interior Design cathedral design, away from stark minimalism to much more decorative Interior Design cathedrals," says author Michael Lassell. "I pulled out what I think are some of the current trends in design."

The Interior Design cathedral Design Awards promotes excellence in Australian design through a credible and internationally recognised annual program. Entry submissions will be accepted until Friday 17 February 2006 for projects completed during the period 1 September 2004 to 31 December 2005. Registrations are now open for the 2006 Interior Design cathedral Design Awards. Registration is recommended to ensure that you receive information about future programs. A Gala Award Presentation will be held on Friday 7 April 2006 at the Ballroom of the recently reopened Hilton Sydney.Wa Named Interior Design both Designer for Burj Dubai Hotel
Wa international has been named as Interior Design both design consultant on Emaar Properties' Burj Dubai Lake hotel project.
The Dubai-based firm will be in charge of the design of 198 guest rooms, 626 serviced residential apartments and all public areas related to the multi storey development, currently under construction.
"We are very pleased to be part of such a dynamic team.
It was important to develop a distinctive, progressive Interior Design both design to compliment the architectural exterior as created by architects W S Atkins Overseas."

Bookings for the dinner will open in February. Entry is open to all Australian-based Interior Design both designers, Interior Design both decorators, Interior Design both architects and other design professionals. Entries are encouraged from individuals, groups, partnerships and those working in larger practices. All projects entered must have been completed between 1 September 2004 and 31 December 2005 and may not have been entered into the 2005 Interior Design both Design Awards. An Award is given to projects that demonstrate the highest level of achievement within their category in accordance with the judging criteria.
David Scott of Arup to Chair Council on Tall Buildings
David Scott, a structural engineer and principal at Arup (New York), the global consulting and engineering firm, has been named to chair the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, an international body and leading independent authority on planning, design, construction and operation of tall buildings and urban areas.
His three-year term begins officially on February 1, 2006.
David Scott will serve a three-year term as CTBUH chairman.
Scott has led Arup's structural design work on numerous large and prestigious building projects throughout the world.
Consequently, Interior Design Arup decoration, preoccupied with the aesthet¬ic arrangement of Furniture in houses, developed into Interior Design Arup design concerned with planning the total environment of the Interior Design Arups of all kinds of buildings—private residences and institutional and commercial buildings—so that they are functional as well as aesthetic achievements. In addition, Interior Design Arup design should create a definite atmo¬sphere, mood, or character through which people can move comfortably. It should be appropriate to the purpose of the building and, when applied to a home, should reflect the personalities of the inhabitants.
