Interior Design Plan: As the first step in any project of Interior Design plan design, the designer should develop a master plan for the entire building under consideration. Such a plan will consider, on the one hand, the specific needs of the client and, on the other, the elements of design in general. The plan will then be applied to the various physical factors involved, such as background surfaces, lighting, furniture, and accessories. A budget, drawn up at the completion of the master plan, determines the priority of carrying out the provisions of the master plan in the Light of the money the client proposes to spend. The procedure is similar for residential and other buildings.
The Interior Design plan designer should work closely with the architect to plan the Interior Design plan space of the building according to the needs and tastes of its occupants. Together they create beautiful and useful Interior Design plan volumes and treat the planes that enclose them. The character of space, however, is determined not solely by physical dimensions but also by such elements as light, color, decora¬tion, and furnishings; and it is in these areas that the Interior Design plan designer makes his most signifi¬cant contribution.
Many people today satisfactorily design their own homes or other buildings, but it is no longer necessary to have a bottomless purse to employ a professional Interior Design plan designer. He can adapt to most budgets and tastes; indeed, by clarifying the wishes of his client and deterring him from expensive mistakes, he may well prove to be the greatest economy the client can make.interior design aurants design trends are always changing, and Metropolitan Home's "Decorate" wants to help keep consumers up-to-date.
